Annie & Sean
Ford’s Colony Country Club – Williamsburg, Virginia
Annie and Sean are one of those couples that have inspired us both professionally and personally. Not unlike our own relationship, their story began thanks to mutual friends. Annie was living in Connecticut with a friend who happened to be dating Sean’s roommate in Brooklyn. It was unlikely that their paths would ever cross and yet they found each other. After a year of dating, they swapped places – their friends moved in together in Connecticut and Annie moved in with Sean in Brooklyn.
On the day of the wedding, we were immediately floored by how timeless Annie looked with her vintage blusher veil. The look of pure joy on Sean’s face when he saw Annie approach the aisle said it all. When it came time for their portraits, this couple completely blew us away leaving us with absolutely classic imagery.
One of our favorite elements of the wedding is how Annie and Sean incorporated their love for literature. They were both English majors so it was fitting that their centerpieces included classic novels and the tables were named after famous authors. As wedding favors, they gave their guests adorable custom bookmarks.
Annie and Sean, your special day was unforgettable and we are so glad that we got to be a part of it. We can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you both! In keeping with your literary theme, we would like to close with a quote.
“He’s more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.” ― Emily Brontë , Wuthering Heights
