“Bright, light, airy and timeless with neutral colors and classic styles” – that’s how Beckal’a and Brian described their vision for their wedding day. From that moment, we knew we would be a perfect fit! We always love when couples incorporate a piece of themselves into their wedding – for Beckal’a that was her love of literature. Beckal’a is a talented book blogger (you can read all about it here!) so she integrated her passion into their day by using books as centerpieces and displaying a wooden door with loves quotes on it. Their decor was perfectly complimented by shades of white, cream and light blue.
Beckal’a and Brian began their day beautifully by sharing an intimate first look when some unexpected spectators showed up – several adorable ponies! Their ceremony then took place at Fairhill Farm against a stunning panoramic view of the Blueridge Mountains. The day went off without a hitch and everyone enjoyed a fun and laid back reception by hanging out and playing lawn games. Right before sunset, we were able to capture some timeless portraits of Beckal’a and Brian on a gorgeous yellow settee from Another Chance Designs. We then ventured deeper into the property where we found a lake, tree swing and whimsical tree house – what more could a photographer ask for?
