We hope that everyone’s year is off to an amazing start! “Wow” is all we have to say about last year! We are still reeling from how fulfilling it was – how lucky are we to do what we love and capture the happiest moments in people’s lives?! We couldn’t do it without you guys!

After an incredibly full season, we are so excited to begin blogging again! We couldn’t wait to share Lily and Lee’s stunning Hermitage Museum & Gardens wedding in Norfolk. This is easily one of our favorite Hampton Roads venues; between the ivy covered walls and beautiful gardens, there is a photo opportunity around every corner.

The day began with a first look in the rose garden, followed by a romantic portrait session. We love when our couples opt to do a first look, it is one of the best ways to get the most out of your coverage and ensure that you have plenty of beautiful portraits together!

Lily and Lee’s heartfelt ceremony took place in the east garden under a breathtaking oak tree. The open air reception on the rooftop of Supper Southern Morsels that followed was equally mesmerizing. Between the gorgeous weather and golden hour light, it was the perfect end to an unforgettable day.
